My father’s side of the family once had this as a view near their home… and decided winters in Upstate New York were preferable. They didn’t even leave during the Potato Famine. That’s quite a decision…
I live in Olean, New York with my wife, Kim, my son, Ben, and my daughter, Ellie. There’s two dogs and two cats as well, but they’re only supporting characters, so you’ll have to wait for the credits at the end to get the names.
I love to be together with my family (I’m sure that the feeling is occasionally mutual), and we try to travel a couple of times a year. Home is great, but if there’s a chance, we should always take the opportunity to explore everything out there.
My interests outside of spending time with the family include listening to most types of music (country is the exception), watching sports (especially the Bills, Sabres, Knicks, and Yankees), traveling, finding unique experiences around the area (espcially in the Buffalo area, which is extremely underrated as a community), spending time with friends (when the schedule permits), reading about current events, and seeing how (spicy) hot restaurants can go with my wings before I hallucinate. (I’ve felt some mental fuzziness and physical weakness when getting them at a certain level of spice before. It’s important to keep pushing yourself to improve.)
